Bryony Page wants fourth Olympics

Bryony Page hopes to compete in a fourth Olympic Games.

The 33-year-old trampoline gymnast took gold at the recent Paris Games, adding to the silver she received in Rio in 2016 and her bronze from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and she’s hoping to add to her haul by representing Team GB again in Los Angeles in 2028.

She told HELLO! magazine: “Nothing is set in stone but I would absolutely love to compete at another Olympic Games.

“It’s just trying to fit in everything I want to do, next year I would like to compete in the World Games.”

At Paris, Bryony and triathlete Alex Yee were asked to be Team GB’s flag bearers at the closing ceremony, and she admitted she “cried” when approached for the pivotal role in the festivities.

She said: “I cried when I found out I would be the flag bearer.

“It felt so monumental for me and I couldn’t get my brain around it.

“But when we marched out with the flag, it was just me and Alex out there and that’s when it hit me; ‘This is the Olympics…’

“I had a huge smile on my face and was tearing up.

“I have goosebumps now thinking about it.”
