The 31-year-old golfer is well aware of the improvements he needs to make to his game and acknowledged one particular club can be especially "frustrating".
He told Golf Monthly magazine: "My driver needs improvement. It's a club that I've often struggled to get right.
"I would reckon that it has lost me more tournaments than it's won me over the years.
"I feel like there's a lot of times when I have to rely on my irons, wedges and my putting to get a top 10 or a top 15.
"I think the driver can just be frustrating and get me into trouble, but I know the work I've been doing and that I did last off-season is getting me in the right direction with it all."
Despite being praised for his putting, Cameron doesn't think it is part of his game that has always been too "great".
He said: "In my opinion, I don't think I've always been a great putter.
"It's the kind of club that I've spent some significant amounts of time on, for sure – more than other clubs in the past.
"The funny thing about putting is that sometimes I observe players and they seem to have the absolute perfect stroke but they just can't seem to hole enough putts with it.
"It's an interesting thing.
"Overall, I think that spending as much time as I have has been key to where my putting is now."
