Tyson Fury felt sympathy for Anthony Joshua after loss to Daniel Dubois

Tyson Fury "feels sorry" for Anthony Joshua after his loss to Daniel Dubois.

The Gypsy King has revealed that he was disappointed to see Joshua fall to a brutal knockout defeat against Dubois that ruined his hopes of becoming a three-time heavyweight world champion.

In an interview with Sky News, Fury said: "I feel sorry for him at the minute, being cleaned out in the last fight in five rounds, so he'll have to do that again - or not - and then decide his future. I've said after every [Anthony Joshua] loss I've felt deflated.

"When an adversary loses, and it's not to you, you do feel down and depressed about it. I felt sad for him. It was sad to see a worthy opponent lose his crown."

Fury and Joshua have never fought despite plenty of speculation over the years and the former WBC world champion revealed that he wants it to happen regardless of their records in the ring.

He said: "I'd still fight him whether he's got five losses, 10 losses or 20. It's not important because, at this stage of our careers, it's about having good fights. I think it would still be an interesting fight for the paying pundit."

Fury will attempt to avenge his first career loss to Oleksandr Usyk in December's rematch and insists that he won't need to make many changes to his approach to come out on top following his defeat in May's initial bout.

The fighter said: "I do exactly the same thing, but don't get a standing count in round nine and I've won the fight comfortably. Yeah, I'm gonna change not getting a knockdown."

Fury joked that he wants to punish Usyk for ruining his Christmas plans by delaying the fight date until December.

He said: "He actually put the rematch back, I was really looking forward to having a good build-up to Halloween, bonfire night, Christmas and New Year. But he's f***** all that up for me, so now I'll only get three days of Christmas. He's gonna have to pay for that!"
