Jake Paul wore a $100k ear cover to mock Mike Tyson's infamous bite

Jake Paul trolled Mike Tyson with an ear cover worth a reported $100,000 before their high profile fight.

The social media star turned boxer will face one of the sport's most notorious champions in Netflix's first live boxing event - which kicks off at 1am on Friday (15.11.24) night for fans in the UK - and he took a dig at his opponent during Wednesday's (13.11.24) press conference in Texas.

Host Ariel Helwani pointed out the earpiece, which TMZ has reported cost $100,000 from VOBARA.

Jake, 27, was wearing the accessory in a not-so-subtle nod to Tyson, 58, biting Evander Holyfield's ear during a 1997 match.

He said during the press event: "I'm not getting my s*** bit off on Friday night. So I got my diamond, spiked ear covers right there."

Elsewhere at the presser, the former YouTuber - whose brother is influencer and WWE superstar Logan Paul - insisted he wanted Tyson to give him "the hardest match possible".

He added: "He said he's gonna kill me, is that what you're gonna do Mike?

"I'm ready, I want that killer, I want the hardest match possible on Friday night, and I want there to be no excuses from everyone at home when I knock him out."

Jake also left people stunned as he numerous $1 million bets with undercard boxers predicting he will lose to 'Iron Mike'.

Meanwhile, Katie Taylor suggested they could bet their entire purse for their respective fights on the night.

Jake - who initially looked surprised by the proposal - went onto shake hands with the boxer, and insisted: "I'm sending out contract too."
