The heavyweight pair will meet again in a world title fight on Saturday (21.12.24) and Frampton is tipping the Gypsy King to avenge the first loss of his career to the Ukrainian in what he believes will be an epic fight.
The former fighter told TNT Sports: "I think it’s going to be incredible. I think it’s going to be tight. I can’t really see it being anything other than another great fight.
"Both guys wear their heart on their sleeve. Both guys will be determined to win the fight. Usyk will want to show that it’s not a fluke. Fury will want to show that he got it wrong that night.
"There may be knockdowns, but I think that Tyson Fury will just about edge a close one."
Frampton recently suggested that Fury has plenty of room to improve in the rematch but is doubtful as to whether Usyk can replicate the performance levels that bought him victory in May.
The Northern Irish fighter said: "Usyk is a great boxer. Everyone loves him, what a personality, what a guy, what a fighter. He performed out of his skin that night, the performance of a career from an already amazing career.
"But he had to really perform at his absolute best to beat Tyson Fury. Can he improve on that performance? I’m not quite sure, I think that’s the limit. Can Tyson Fury improve? Absolutely."
Meanwhile, Fury's promoter Frank Warren is predicting that his charge will win the fight via knockout.
He said: "Tyson, I’m telling you, will win this fight.
"I believe that Tyson will win the fight on the 21st in Riyadh, and the reason I believe that is because I think he’s got the tools to do it, and he’ll win it by a stoppage."
