Joachim Andersen dances around his Christmas tree.

The Fulham centre back likes to kick off his festive celebrations on Christmas Eve by performing the ritual around his decorations at home, though he didn’t explain if he bops to any particular song.

Asked his Christmas traditions and rituals, he told Match magazine: “My favourite tradition is dancing around the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.”

The Danish sportsman previously opened up about his “timeless” sense of style.

He told Britain’s GQ magazine: “I like to keep it timeless, you know? Most footballers wear these high-end brands, big labels, and want to show off and stuff. It can work for some, but that just isn’t my style.

“I dress up for dinner, and I dress like an English gentleman, you know? If I’m in the mood, I like to go old school. Suit and tie. Tweed…

“A lot of footballers choose fast fashion and it’s such a waste. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to appreciate each item. I don’t think you have to change your wardrobe up each year just because you can, even if my girlfriend might want me to.

“I want something that will last a lifetime.”

And Joachim has no desire to relax in athleisurewear.

He said: “I spend enough time in tracksuits at training.

“Why would I choose to wear more in my free time?”
