Keyshawn Davis expects 'huge' 2025 for him and his brothers

Keyshawn Davis has predicted 2025 will be a “huge year” for him and his brothers.

The 25-year-old lightweight and his boxer siblings Keon and Kelvin Davis have enjoyed a successful 2024 but The Businessman thinks the coming 12 months will see them escalate their careers to a “whole new level”.

He told Boxing News magazine: “2025 is going to be a huge year for DB3.

“Those performances have put Keyshawn, Keon and Kelvin Davis on a whole new level. It’s time for a world title.”

One highlight of the Olympic medallist’s 2024 was his second-round knockout over Gustavo Daniel Lemos during a homecoming fight in Norfolk, Virginia that saw both his brothers on the undercard and their sister performing the US national anthem.

But Keyshawn admitted he found it a “stressful” night to prepare for.

He explained: “Leading up to the fight, it was so stressful.

“My first main event and homecoming, two major things all at once.

“I had to promote my own event, and so on.

“It all played out pretty well though. I didn’t show I was stressed or worried.

“[On the night] there was added pressure. My two brothers had already fought and won. It was left to me to close the show. I had to deliver on the performance I promised.”
