The British heavyweight veteran is in action against Otto Wallin on Saturday (08.02.25) and likened himself to football great Cristiano Ronaldo by stating that his passion is the key to his longevity.
Chisora, 41, said: "I don't think it is about trying to achieve something.
"I think it is about saying, 'You know what, I did it my way'.
"You see, Cristiano Ronaldo still plays football, not because he wants to make money.
"It is not about money, it is about him playing football, enjoying the gift he has got and having fun, do you understand?"
Chisora continued: "Most people, 99 per cent of all the fighters after they have retired, call up the promoter saying they want to do a comeback.
"They all want to do a comeback, but the problem is when they go in the gym, they start off slowly.
"For me, I don't, I am still in it, so I enjoy it. I love sparring the up-and-coming fighters. I love it."
Chisora is in for a tough test against Wallin - who has previously fought Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua - but has still enjoyed his birthday, Christmas and New Year celebrations over the past few months.
The fighter said: "I had a massive New Year's Eve party at my house.
"I had 30 people at the house, don't try and help me bro! I had a Christmas dinner and on my kid's birthday, I am there having fun.
"There is no holiday I miss because of boxing, no way. I have fun bro, don't get it twisted.
"Everyone else says that to be the greatest, you have to sacrifice. I don't believe in that. I believe that if being the greatest is your path, it will be your path.
"If you are going to be a president one day, it is going to happen, it is your destiny.
"So I don't believe in not doing something because I have a fight. I do what I want to do because it makes me happy."
