The 40-year-old golfer admitted he “struggled” last season and he thinks it is largely as a result of breaking his favourite club and not being able to find the right replacement.
He told Today’s Golfer magazine: “I had a mediocre season in 2024, that’s for sure.
“I got a win early but I struggled during the whole year.
“I played absolutely nothing consistent. A lot of that is down to breaking my club in Miami.
“I have a lot of drivers but there’s always one you like a lot, one that really matches your game.
“These last few months I’ve been searching for a new driver and it’s impacted the rest of my game.”
Dustin – who quit the PGA Tour for LIV Golf in 2022 – believes he has a “good five years” left of playing.
He said: “I feel like I’ve got a good five years left in me.
“Five years where I can still really grind away.
“It will depend on how much work I put in, but I can win more Majors.
“I’m 100% sure of that.
“It would be nice to add a few more.”
