The former Brentford player - who joined Arsenal in 2023 - is convinced the team still has a chance of taking home silverware this season despite lagging 12 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool and crashing out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup - insisting Mikel Arteta's side is looking forward to the upcoming UEFA Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
Speaking to Sky Sports as part of an interview for the 'One on One' podcast, Raya explained: "It is a great place to be.
"This is a great club and the team is incredible. We are going in the right direction to achieve things, it is a matter of time."
Arsenal last won the FA Cup back in 2020 during Arteta's first season in charge and they also took the Community Shield in 2020 and 2023.
Their strongest hope of silverware this season will be in Europe and Raya admits the quarter final game against the Spanish giants will be a huge test.
He added: "Everybody wants to win the Champions League and everyone knows how hard it is. Last year I thought we did a really good campaign. We were so close to beating Bayern Munich to go into the semi-finals.
"We are going in the right direction. We have that experience now and not many players had played in the Champions League before. We look forward to it and accept the challenge.
"We have a big challenge ahead playing Real Madrid. It is the one you really wanted to play when you were young."
Arsenal are due to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter final on April 8.
The north London team has never won the Champions League while Real Madrid has taken the title 15 times - making them the most successful side in the competition.
