Simone Biles doesn't know if she will compete at the LA 2028 Olympics

Simone Biles is unsure where she will compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

The seven-time Olympic champion is the most decorated gymnast of all time but admits that she may sit out the next Games as she focuses on other priorities such as spending time with her NFL star husband Jonathan Owens.

Speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe, Biles said: "I'm really trying to enjoy life, to spend time with my husband, go support him at his games, live my life as a woman.

"I've accomplished so much in my sport. For me to come back, it would really have to excite me."

Biles is planning to be at the LA Olympics but is not sure in what capacity.

The Team USA star said: "Whether on the apparatus or in the stands, I still don't know that. But 2028 seems so far away, and my body is ageing. I felt it in Paris."

Biles won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics last year but confessed that she pushed her body beyond the breaking point to do so.

She recalled: "I went back to the village, I took the elevator and my body literally collapsed. I was sick for 10 days. The other day, we were sprinting in the garden with friends, I had aches and pains for three days. So, I honestly don't know. We'll see."

Biles won widespread praise for speaking out about her mental health issues during the Tokyo 2020 Games and has vowed to keep the conversation going about the subject.

The athlete said: "I am very proud of the work accomplished to reach this point, and I will continue to be the voice of the voiceless."
