Step One

Switching up the inbox view and design

Homepage: On the homepage you’ll find a list of your unread emails, as well as additional mailbox features. Go to the menu at the bottom left to visit our 'Help' pages and all your personal data by going to ‘My Account’.
Email preview: To change the view of your emails, click the menu at the top right to alter your email display to have a message preview on the right side or at the bottom. You can also choose to see your emails as a list without any preview.
Email signature: Write a lot of formal emails with standard greetings to end the message? Then including an email signature is a great idea. Your contact info and greetings will automatically be displayed at the end of every email sent by you.

Using folders

All your folders and new emails are located on the left side of your inbox. It’s simple to make new folders with just one click and even change already-existing folders, like how long the storage time should be, for instance. Look in ‘Settings’ for an overview of the storage space used in all of your folders and the inbox.

If you need another email address because you’ve changed your name or own a small business, for example, then it’s easy to make a new email alias in your GMX mailbox for free. This means that new messages will still end up in your main inbox, regardless of which email address was used by your contacts. Make use of filter rules to automatically sort new emails into individual folders.
