Windows 11 coming to Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S in December

Microsoft has confirmed Meta Quest 3 users will gain the “full capabilities” of Windows 11 on the VR headset.

What this means is that from December, Quest 3 and the more affordable Quest 3S will be able to stream from a Windows 11 PC, or a Windows Cloud PC with a Windows 365 subscription.

The tech giant announced in a new blog post: “Access to your local Windows PC or Windows 365 Cloud PC from a Quest headset is seamless and it takes only seconds to connect to a private, high-quality, multiple-monitor workstation.

“This will be available in public preview in December.”
