CES 2025: Samsung to showcase 15 C-Lab startups

Samsung is set to showcase 15 C-Lab startups at CES 2025.

The Las Vegas-based event – which sees global technology brands host presentations and unveil new products from January 7 to January 11 – will show off 15 new projects from the South Korean tech titan that, with the support of its C-Lab program,1, are innovating in the fields of AI, IoT, digital health and robotics.

The companies are made up of 12 startups from the C-Lab Outside program, two beginners from C-Lab Inside – an internal employee-only venture program, and one startup that was spun off from Samsung.

The initiatives help external startups and internal employee projects.

These include Mainspace, which is an online shopping service based on automated 3D interior design technology, as well as Ghostpass – a remote hands-free authentication solution by storing user biometrics on smartphones.

The latter, a startup from C-Lab Outside Gwangju, won the Best of Innovation Award in Fintech at CES 2025.

Sunkwan Lee, CEO and founder of GhostPass, said: "Thanks to the support and coaching of C-Lab Outside, we were able to grow our company in a short period of time.

“We are excited to attend CES 2025 with C-Lab and showcase our solution, which won the CES Best of Innovation Award.”

Pilgyu Jeon, executive vice president and head of the creativity and innovation centre at Samsung Electronics, said: “CES is an important opportunity for Korean startups to gain a foothold in the global market and increase brand awareness.

"C-Lab will continue to support startups on the journey to becoming internationally recognized global innovators.”
