Mark Zuckerberg thinks glasses will be the 'next big thing' in computer technology

Mark Zuckerberg thinks glasses will be the "next big thing" in computer technology.

The 40-year-old billionaire - who co-founded the social media service Facebook and its parent company Meta Platforms - has so far launched virtual reality headsets through his corporations but now thinks that eyewear will be the next big craze.

A user wrote on Threads: "More and more of my friends have bought (or plan to buy) either the Meta Quest, the Ray-Ban Meta, or both—and they all love them. I think that’s a good sign. $MET."

Mark replied: "Glasses will be the next major computing platform."

Mark did not expand upon his opinion or give any further reasoning behind his claim comes just days after reports suggested similar.

The WSJ stated that "a person familiar with the project" had suggested that a suggested that the Ray-Ban update is due in 2025, and an in-lens display would be added at some point in the coming months.
