easyJet to help those who suffer from fear of flying with more Fearless Flyer course dates

easyJet is to help those who suffer from a fear of flying with their Fearless Flyer course.

The budget airline has offered the course to some 12,000 people who have aerophobia since it was launched in 2012 and are thrilled to announce that their 200th programme will launch this May.

Mark Wein, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course Director, said: “As someone who used to have a fear of flying, I understand only too well how restrictive this fear can be, but it really isn’t that difficult to overcome it. Often, it’s just a lack of knowledge or a fear of panic attacks that is the root cause of the issue, which is why the easyJet Fearless Flyer course is so successful.

“We’re really excited to reach our 200th course and it’s a testament to the easyJet pilots and Fearless Flyer team who have been committed to making this programme a success. I encourage anyone with any doubts about flying to book now and change your life.”

Eight courses will run from 10 May 2025 to 23 June 2025, with experience flights taking place at eight UK airports; Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, London Luton, London Gatwick and easyJet’s new base London Southend Airport for the first time, so customers have the choice of a location convenient to them.

Richard Cox, who last flew 18 years ago, attended the Bristol course in March 2025 and said:

“All I can say is from start to finish it was all absolutely amazing, the online course is excellent, the Zoom meeting was spot on and covered everything, meeting the team at the airport was brilliant there isn't a part that I could even try to criticise or say could be changed. Every member of the team were brilliant, but I have to say Captain Kate was a credit to easyJet, and cabin crew member Annie on board had so much time for me. Meeting the Captain on board certainly put my mind at ease as I was able to put a face to who was in control. Mark’s breathing exercises on board were priceless. I could go on all day, so in a nutshell everyone and every aspect was outstanding, I can't thank you all enough.”
